"The second release of the prodigious Progeny Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the fantastic 2007 vintage. Solid black-purple color with an opaque center and a bright ruby edge give this wine a formidable appearance. Aromas of dried blueberries, black currant, dates, brown sugar, tobacco leaf, lead pencil shavings, vanilla extract and black tea are complimented by the caramelized sugar, fig and ripe black fruit flavors. The wine is structured with bold tannins, that will reward the consumer with years of longevity." - Sean Capiaux
Showcasing a very dark red in color with a deep red/purple edge. Fragrant plum aromas open to a bouquet of dark chocolate, brown sugar and blackberries followed by flavors of black tea, graphite, blueberry liquor and exotic vanilla on the palate. This wine is structured with bold tannins followed by a silky ribbon of flavor that flows elegantly into a long, lingering finish. This wine will reward the consumer with years of longevity.
