Most wine writers recognize the 2016 vintage throughout Napa Valley for its rich, full nature. We aged this Reserve 22 months in French oak and 24 months in bottle, reflecting Progeny’s approach to extended aging prior to release for all its wines.

The color shows dark purple red, with an opaque core and strong purple hue. This luscious and precise wine captures the senses with enticing aromas of lavender, plum, blackberries, and espresso beans. Flavors of wild huckleberry, ripe fig, and graphite smoothly glide across the palate with a long finish, seamless texture, and refined tannins.
